EES ECONOMY TALKS Castelfalfi
On the 9th and 10th of October, eupag supported the Economy Talks Castelfalfi in Italy, which were organized by the European Economic Senate in cooperation with the Taxpayers Association of Europe.
During the two-day event the attendees discussed with leading members of politics and industry about current challenges in Europe like the current economic crisis and possible ways for the southern European countries to address these challenges, as well as the economic and social pressure which is the result of the current migration crisis.
Dr. Ingo Friedrich, Chairman of the eupag Advisory Board, Former Vice President of the European Parliament and President of the European Economic Senate, made a strong case for European cooperation being the only suitable means to overcome the current situation especially in southern Europe. Dr. David Roettgen from the Italian Ministry of Environment enlightened the guests by giving a specific Italian point of view.
